Overview: Abundant Professional Services seeks a dedicated and dynamic Micro Business Proposal Specialist for our "Earn as We Learn" initiative. This role is critical for those with a zest for learning and contributing to the success of small and micro businesses by handling RFPs from various sources like government, corporate, and nonprofit organizations.

Job Description

1. Research and Identification:

- Proactively identify and assess RFPs, ensuring alignment with our business goals.

- Maintain a pulse on market trends, updating strategies to capture new opportunities.

- Analyze RFP requirements to prioritize and target proposals effectively.


2. Proposal Development:

- Lead and coordinate with teams to craft persuasive and compliant proposals.

- Pay meticulous attention to detail, ensuring all criteria are met without errors.

- Creatively present our strengths, differentiating us from competitors.


3. Project Management:

- Oversee the proposal lifecycle, adhering to strict deadlines and guidelines.

- Implement systematic tracking for each proposal's progress and outcomes.

- Conduct debriefs post-submission to refine future proposal strategies.


4. Learning and Development:

- Engage in continuous learning, keeping abreast of industry best practices.

- Contribute to a knowledge-sharing culture, enhancing team capabilities.

- Embrace feedback and professional development opportunities actively.


5. Client Interaction:

- Act as the primary contact for clients regarding RFP inquiries and clarifications.

- Foster robust relationships through consistent and positive communication.

- Negotiate and resolve issues with a solution-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

- Essential: Experience in RFP processes and proposal writing.

- Strong research, writing, and communication skills.

- Independent worker and collaborative team player.

- Excellent organizational and project management abilities.


Additional Information

US Citizenship Required

Additional Details:

  • Must provide excellent references from previous supervisors or clients.
  • Legal authorization to work in the US.
  • Subject to standard background and security checks.
  • Job Type: Part-time (Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday)
  • Pay: $21.00/hour.
