Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a MH-139 Field Service Rep - Malmstrom AFB to provide on-site and field-based support for the MH-139 Grey Wolf helicopter program at Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana. One Airframe & Propulsion FSR and one Avionics & Mission Systems FSR for on-site technical, maintenance, and operational support to the customer. Candidates should have experience in flexible, fast-paced settings that require prompt responses to ad-hoc customer requests. Strong technical and interpersonal skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to prioritize and manage workload independently with minimal supervision are essential. The role also requires flexibility to work long hours (including evenings and weekends), demonstrated leadership and teamwork in diverse groups, and proficiency with digital tools to host online meetings across time zones. Candidates must meet GEC6 job family requirements and should have experience supporting rotary-wing aircraft in a field or operational environment.

Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Provide on-site field service support for MH-139 Grey Wolf aircraft operations and maintenance activities.
  • Act as the on-site liaison between the company and customer personnel of widely varying backgrounds to gain resolution of significant technical and operational issues.
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and support resolution of aircraft and systems discrepancies.
  • Coordinate with service engineering, supply chain, logistics, and program teams to resolve field issues.
  • Support aircraft availability, readiness, and sustainment objectives.
  • Document field issues, technical findings, and corrective actions in accordance with program and company procedures.
  • Maintain compliance with Boeing, customer, and regulatory requirements related to safety, quality, and aircraft maintenance.
  • Understand customer expectations, assist customers in interpreting and using support data and documents, and provide technical ad hoc on-the-job training.
  • Work unsupervised for extended periods of time in a wide variety of cultural/economic environments.
  • Must be able to function in a demanding on call, around the clock operational environment.
  • Willing to work any shift.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills / Experience):
  • Minimum 1 year of experience maintaining and/or troubleshooting rotorcraft/Vertical platforms
  • Minimum 1 year's knowledge/understanding of mechanical, environmental, avionics and flight control systems, and electrical/electronic systems.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs. Failure to deploy/travel will be considered as a resignation.
  • At the sole discretion of leadership, must be willing and able to relocate to a variety of locations (domestic and international) to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation.

Preferred Qualifications (Skills / Experience):
  • Prefer candidates with proven experience maintaining and troubleshooting AW-139 / MH-139 aircraft mechanical, electrical/electronic, environmental, and avionics systems.
  • Prefer candidate with previous military experience or extensive familiarity with military operations and written maintenance procedures.
  • Extensive experience using maintenance data collection and analysis (G081) is desired.
  • Extensive knowledge of using Interactive Electronic Technical Manual (IETM) is desired.

Summary Pay Range: 79,900 - 108,100
