- Hardware Test System Oversight: Partner with the tech lead to define comprehensive standards for the design and development of test scripts and plans, ensuring the rigorous evaluation of hardware components (e.g., motherboards, CPUs, storage, and PCIe devices).
- Full-Stack Software Oversight: Collaborate with the technical lead to establish clear standards for development of responsive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue), as well as server-side logic using Python, Java, or Node.js.
- Infrastructure & Sustaining: Ensure the continuous support and maintenance of server and rack-level test software deployed at production facilities.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Facilitate alignment on testing requirements and quality standards by collaborating closely with test engineers, manufacturing engineers, failure analysis engineers and IT SFC, MFG Network and System team.
- Risk & Task Management: Prioritize efforts, delegate activities appropriately, identify potential risks in the testing process, and develop mitigation strategies.
- Team Growth & Career Planning: Continuously assess individual strengths and areas for improvement across the team. Work closely with each team member to create personalized growth plans, set measurable goals, and map out clear, long-term career paths.
- Throughput & Workload Management: Actively monitor the team's workload and review project throughput. Balance task assignments based on individual capabilities (pros/cons) to optimize efficiency without causing burnout.
- Performance Coaching: Conduct regular 1-on-1 meetings to provide constructive, actionable feedback, remove roadblocks, and guide the team through technical or operational challenges.
- Culture & Collaboration: Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team environment. Bridge communication between software developers, program managers, and cross-functional engineering teams to ensure unified goals.
What you bring
