Metropolis VFX is a VFX studio based in Madrid, Spain founded by a brilliant team of Spanish VFX artists and producers in collaboration with Important Looking Pirates. Metropolis intends to be a world-class destination for complex CG, environments, FX simulations and advanced compositing in Spain.
The founders of the studio are seasoned professionals with wide experience on shows that span from Star Wars Episode I and Saving Private Ryan to Game of Thrones, Stranger Things or The Three Body Problem and have shared with ILP shows like Westworld, Lost in Space, Death by Lightning and Game of Thrones throughout the years.

With offices in Stockholm, Hamburg, and London, they provide high-end VFX and animation services for films, TV series, commercials, games, and VR. Their expertise spans creature work, environments, and complex FX, collaborating with major storytellers to push industry standards through technical and creative excellence.
