How you will contribute to revolutionizing electric aviation:
- Managing the interface between engineering requirements, production Work Instructions and Quality Control Plans, ensuring consistency, traceability, and continuity throughout the lifecycle.
- Create and curate process documentation that standardizes design-to-production handoffs, promoting operational consistency and knowledge retention.
- Develop and manage standard repairs aligned with engineering and regulatory requirements, ensuring consistency across products. Collaborate with design to document repeatable repair schemes that reduce rework and expedite dispositions.
- Support teams with the management of non-conformities and deviations, preserving configuration integrity and ensuring all manufactured components align with approved design data.
- Ensuring communication between design, manufacturing, and quality teams to support accurate data transfer and uphold airworthiness standards.
- Support the alignment of internal and external inspection strategies in line with engineering expectations to achieve engineering specifications and regulatory standards.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Degree in Manufacturing Engineering or similar discipline
- Strong understanding of aerospace conformity, airworthiness, and special process standards (e.g., NADCAP, Form 8130-3)
- 10+ years of relevant experience
- Aerospace experience is required
Above and Beyond Qualifications:
- Proven ability to translate FAA and EASA regulatory guidance into compliant manufacturing and inspection processes
- Expertise in process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma Black Belt, SPC, DOE) and data-driven root cause analysis
- Experience with MES, PLM, and ERP systems (e.g., PLEX, 3Dx, Delmia), supporting digital thread and configuration control
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional initiatives from prototype to Type Design maturity in regulated environments
