About the Role:
Reporting to the Supervisor of Operations, this role involves providing accurate field meter reading services across various communities, ensuring the integrity of customer data, and maintaining excellent customer relations. You will be instrumental in ensuring that our operations run smoothly and efficiently, supporting the community's energy needs.
What You Get to Do:
- Arrange for safe access to customer premises, securing properties post-visit.
- Monitor and report on the condition of service installations, noting any irregularities or safety concerns.
- Handle data management tasks associated with meter reading activities.
- Address customer inquiries promptly, ensuring high levels of service and engagement.
- Conduct safety audits and promote ATCO Electric's culture of safety within the community.
- Operate and maintain company vehicles and equipment responsibly.
- Participate in safety meetings and contribute to a culture of safety and environmental stewardship.
- Provide daily work plans and complete job safety analyses.
- Support public safety initiatives and participate in accident investigations as required.
- Must be prepared to work safely in all types of weather.
- You will be required to visit residential properties. This role involves regular exposure to domestic animals, including dogs, while accessing meters located on private property.
What You Bring:
- High School Diploma is required.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and the community.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems logically.
- This is a Safety-Sensitive position and has additional pre-employment requirements.
