Overview:
We are seeking an experienced MES Specialist with direct, hands-on expertise in Rockwell PharmaSuite (FactoryTalk) to support on-site pharmaceutical manufacturing operations. This role is key to maintaining, configuring, and enhancing the MES platform in alignment with GMP regulations and production goals.
Only candidates with prior experience working with PharmaSuite will be considered.
The position requires availability in Puerto Rico and/or USA, upon the clients needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and troubleshoot the PharmaSuite MES system to support manufacturing operations.
- Manage user roles, system parameters, and performance tuning in a validated environment.
- Support MES recipe modeling, execution workflows, and integration with automation (SCADA/PLC/DCS).
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, production, and IT teams to resolve system issues and optimize workflows.
- Participate in validation activities (URS, IQ/OQ/PQ) and support change control and documentation updates.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience with Rockwell PharmaSuite (FactoryTalk) in a regulated life sciences environment.
- Strong understanding of GMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and electronic batch record (eBR) requirements.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally to support system troubleshooting and enhancements.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with recipe design, MES integration with automation and ERP systems.
- Familiarity with PharmaSuite data model and basic SQL queries.
- Participation in MES validation and implementation projects.
- Ability to document procedures, support training, and contribute to system lifecycle activities.
Important Note:
Candidates without demonstrated PharmaSuite (FactoryTalk/Rockwell) experience will not be considered for this opportunity.
