The Recipe Developer will be responsible for configuring and
developing MES recipes, workflows, and related components in alignment with
functional specifications and defined standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop
and configure MES recipes, workflows, and batch execution logic based on approved specifications.
- Create
and configure recipe objects, equipment tracking, and workflows within the MES system.
- Implement electronic batch records (EBR) aligned with manufacturing
processes.
- Participate
in functional requirement discussions and support translation into
configuration.
- Follow
defined development standards, naming conventions, and best practices.
- Perform unit testing and support integration testing and FAT activities.
- Support
preparation and execution of test cases as per test specifications.
- Maintain
proper version control and configuration migration across
environments.
- Resolve defects and issues identified during testing phases.
- Collaborate
with the Recipe Lead and MES Architect for technical alignment.
- Ensure
compliance with GxP and validation requirements during development.
Key Deliverables

- Updated configuration and migration documentation
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience
in MES platforms (preferably Emerson Syncade)
- Hands-on
experience in recipe development and configuration
- Understanding
of manufacturing processes (pharma preferred)
- Basic
knowledge of GxP and validation practices
- Familiarity
with integration concepts with automation systems
- Strong
attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Skills Required
- Experience in MES platforms
- Experience with Emerson Syncade
- Hands-on recipe development and configuration
- Understanding of manufacturing processes
- Pharma manufacturing experience
- Basic knowledge of GxP and validation practices
- Familiarity with integration concepts with automation systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
