Work you’ll do

As a Professional in our team you’ll work side by side with innovative and strategic thought leaders and stay ahead of the rapidly evolving world of business. You’ll get the training to be confident and prepared to help tackle some of our clients’ most complex business issues. You’ll work with diverse global clients across a wide range of industries. You should have exceptional communication and analytical skills with the ability to communicate findings to clients and team members and the ability to manage and lead teams independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. Direct experience in MES Project Management, or MES Requirements Analysis or as a MES Solution Architect in discrete and process manufacturing is desirable. You will work with teams and responsibilities may include:

• Provide functional and technical support for Siemens manufacturing execution systems (Opcenter, APS, AIP, Connect MOM, etc.) deployed in various manufacturing domains.

• Architect enterprise, customer and operating model strategies and develop proposals and eminence around Siemens Opcenter solutions.

• Act as technical and solution architect for fast-paced supply chain projects leveraging the Siemens MOM suite.

• Lead individual project teams in identifying business requirements, functional design, prototyping, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures and supporting Siemens implementations.

• Conduct workshops for requirements validation, data model design and configuration validation, and lead customer design sessions to formulate and document Opcenter solutions.

• Interaction with Subject Matter Experts / plant users / various stake holders for AS-IS study of current landscape and define, design TO-BE plan for Opcenter MES.

• Provide Industry standard best practices and align Enterprise Architecture to the Siemens MES Roadmap defined for the clients.

• Work with Deloitte Team members/ Project Managers/Senior Managers on end-to-end high-level design discussions and long-term approach for sustaining the Opcenter solution.

• Design and development of Integration with systems like Plant control systems, ERP, PLM, APS, and LIMS.

• Be the SME for the development and deployment phases of the project, providing technical work-around options to fill the gaps in the application/functional requirements specific to Siemens tools.

• Help implement and maintain processes for Master data setup for products and processes within Opcenter.

• Work with teams to deliver system solutions for customers and participate in the entire sales cycle from proposals, support through deployment of the customers solution.

• Contribute to the growth and development of Deloitte’s Siemens Manufacturing Execution System (MES) offering and provide market driven product requirements to internal teams.

• Assist project teams and business teams to verify the configurations/customizations during development, testing, and deployment phases to verify an end-to-end solution for our clients.

Required Experience

• 10+ years of hands-on experience on Siemens products - Opcenter Execution Core or Camstar and MOM Connect.

• Strong hands-on experience in configuration and customization of Opcenter Execution Core functionalities – Experience on modelling, Designer & Portal studio

• Experience of Mendix and Opcenter-Mendix integration

• Hands-on experience of developing interfaces using CN MOM / MOM Connect

• In-depth knowledge of ISA-95/S88 standards and their application in Opcenter MES design.

• Knowledge of GxP, GAMP, and 21 CFR Part 11 standards.

• Strong functional understanding of Level 3 and Level 4 systems, and familiarity with SAP-MES integration and Level 2 automation systems.

• Solid knowledge on BOM, Manufacturing Work Plans, MBOM and BOP is needed.

• Strong experience with Java and C# .NET, Oracle / SQL Database, and good working knowledge of Database like SQL Server & SQL Store Procedures.

• MES to ERP integration; Restful API and Webservices development experience.

• Familiar with Quality Management, Dispatch Management, Scheduling, WIP Tracking, Resource Tracking, Maintenance Management, etc.

• In touch with industry 4.0 trends, with emerging digital supply networks and exponential technologies, with industry automation tools and where the market and technology are pointing.

• Strong oral and written communication skills, including presentation and documentation skills (Excel, Visio, PowerPoint, etc.).

• Strong problem solving, troubleshooting, and debugging skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment.

• Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines, and multi-task multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Willingness to work in shifts to support different regions.

Preferred

• Experience in Siemens MES Global Manufacturing Suites, specifically Opcenter, APS, AIP, and Connect MOM.

• Exposure to Siemens products like DIS, Insights Hub, Opcenter Intelligence, APS is an advantage.

• Exposure to customization using Mendix is an advantage.

• Knowledge of MES Design, Development, Testing and Implementation processes.

• Experience in interface development.

Qualifications Required:

• Undergraduate degree/Professional Degree, with First Class/Distinction in B Tech or B E

• MCA/M Tech/MSc
