What your day might look like
As a Functional Lead, you play a critical role leading a team of Salesforce consultants to design and implement innovative solutions delivering great outcomes for our clients.
You will be supported by an exceptional team of Architects, UX designers, BAs and Delivery Leads to take an experience-led approach, bringing new ways of working and the Salesforce vision to life.
As a leader, you will mentor and support the development of our people helping them achieve their goals and ambitions along the way.
Responsibilities include
- Design and build innovative solutions that maximise our client’s investment on Salesforce and accelerate their realisation of business value.
- Leading by example by ensuring team are alignment to best practices across all aspects of an implementation, including requirements gathering, solution design, documentation, build, test and release.
- Participating in and facilitating workshops and assisting with backlog refinement and user story creation.
- Provide inputs into delivery-related planning activities and be able to identify and flag assumptions, dependencies, risks and issues, assisting your broader project leadership team to effectively steer the project towards success.
- Proactively supporting team members to resolve issues, clarify needs and gather feedback on solutions.
- Mentor, inspire, and motivate team members to uplift capability, produce high quality outcomes and output that meets or exceeds client expectations.
- Showing your passion for learning, keeping abreast of Salesforce innovations and new capabilities by obtaining Salesforce certifications and relevant learning opportunities.
- Using your knowledge, act as a multiplier by contributing to learning initiatives, and boldly share your passion, skills and experience with the wider team.
A bit about you
- Demonstrable expertise and experience as a Senior or Lead Functional Consultant implementing solutions in at least one of the following areas: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud or Experience Cloud, and relevant Salesforce certifications and tertiary qualifications.
- Any experience with Industry Clouds, Revenue Cloud, and/or in a multi cloud environment would be highly beneficial, but not essential.
- Experience working in either a consulting or professional Services firm, or a vendor / customer style environment.
- Experience implementing Salesforce leveraging the principles of human-centred design, usability and accessibility.
- Excellent presentation and communication skills, allowing you to manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Business analysis and critical thinking skills to diagnose problems with users, create solutions and documentation.
- Supporting presales activities that could include business case development, RFP responses, pitches and demos.
- Knowledge/experience in DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines will be beneficial.
