About the job

Delart is home to a team of world-class engineers and project leaders dedicated to developing the next generation of advanced networking technologies, consumer devices, and innovative technology solutions. Trusted by some of the world’s leading technology companies, we deliver highly scalable, mission-critical solutions that power both consumer and business applications globally. Since our founding in 2017, we have been at the forefront of designing cutting-edge networking, telecommunications, and consumer products, while driving end-to-end project execution and creating transformative technology applications.

Overview

Join our team as a MEMS Microphone Engineer and lead the charge in developing and optimizing cutting-edge MEMS microphone modules for the future of consumer electronics. Your deep expertise in acoustic engineering and semiconductor manufacturing will be the driving force behind overcoming complex system-level challenges like Microphone Coexistence (Mic-Coex) with wireless radios and ensuring pristine sound quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-performing audio solutions with impressive manufacturing yields.

Responsibilities
  • Drive the development of custom MEMS microphone modules, covering MEMS transducer, ASIC, and advanced packaging solutions, while balancing acoustic performance, power consumption, and physical footprint.
  • Lead the integration of microphone modules into complex systems, focusing on resolving Microphone Coexistence (Mic-Coex) issues involving RF/EMI and signal integrity.
  • Implement mechanical and electrical integration using flexible printed circuits (FPC), ensuring robust electrical connectivity and optimal acoustic path designs to maintain high-frequency sensitivity.
  • Oversee the Final Assembly, Test, and Pack (FATP) process, establishing critical tolerances and developing acoustic testing methodologies for mass production.
  • Define and oversee comprehensive reliability testing programs, including thermal cycling, drop/shock testing, and moisture sensitivity (MSL) evaluations, based on industry standards like JEDEC and MIL-STD.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Acoustics, Physics, Materials Science, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of direct experience in MEMS microphone module development from concept to high-volume mass production.
  • Expertise in acoustic engineering and semiconductor manufacturing, with strong problem-solving skills in system-level challenges such as RF/EMI and signal integrity.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, external vendors, and contract manufacturers.
  • Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25-30%) to support manufacturing ramps and vendor audits.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis tools like JMP or Minitab for yield analysis and failure mode analysis.
  • Experience with structured problem-solving techniques such as 8D and FMEA.
