Membership Sales & Community Growth Specialist

Iron Culture – Boutique Fitness Gym

About Iron Culture

Iron Culture is a high-end boutique fitness gym built on strength, discipline, and community. We are not a big-box gym. Our members value coaching, connection, and an elevated training experience. Everything we do is relationship-driven—from how we welcome new members to how we build long-term loyalty and referrals.

We’re looking for a salesperson who thrives in a people-first environment, understands consultative selling, and enjoys being on the floor building real relationships.

Role Overview

As a Sales & Community Growth Specialist, you are the front line of Iron Culture. You’ll be responsible for converting leads into members, nurturing relationships, generating referrals, and helping grow a strong, engaged gym community.

This role blends sales, customer experience, and relationship management. Success is measured not just by closes, but by retention, referrals, and long-term member relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own the full sales process: lead follow-up, tours, consultations, closes, and onboarding
  • Build genuine relationships with prospects, members, and local community partners
  • Use the CRM daily to track leads, follow-ups, notes, and next steps
  • Conduct in-person consultations to understand goals and recommend memberships, personal training, and services
  • Proactively generate referrals from happy members and local relationships
  • Identify new sales opportunities inside the gym (upgrades, personal training, events, corporate or local partnerships)
  • Be present on the gym floor—engaging members, spotting opportunities, and strengthening community
  • Follow up consistently and professionally via phone, text, email, and in person
  • Collaborate with coaches, management, and marketing to create a seamless member experience
  • Meet or exceed monthly sales and referral targets
Qualifications
What We’re Looking For
  • Outgoing, confident, and comfortable starting conversations
  • Experience in sales, customer service, hospitality, or fitness environments
  • Strong relationship-builder who sells through trust, not pressure
  • Comfortable working one-on-one with clients and handling objections
  • Organized and disciplined with CRM usage and follow-up
  • Self-motivated and proactive—doesn’t wait to be told what to do
  • Passion for fitness, health, and being part of a high-energy environment
  • Professional, reliable, and accountable
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required

Preferred Experience
  • Sales experience in fitness, boutique studios, hospitality, or service-based businesses
  • CRM experience (any platform)
  • Track record of closing deals and generating referrals
  • Ability to upsell or cross-sell services based on client needs
  • Spanish fluency is a plus

Why Iron Culture
  • Work in a premium, boutique fitness environment
  • Strong culture focused on growth, discipline, and community
  • Opportunity to make a real impact—not just sell memberships
  • Competitive compensation with performance-based incentives
  • Be part of a brand people are proud to represent
