The position
As the Medical Manager, you will play a pivotal role as a line manager in individual and organizational development of the Affiliate Medical Affairs team. You are data and results driven with the ability to communicate science in a confident and competent way.

  • Drive Affiliate medical strategy to support the development and commercialization of a complex cardio-metabolic portfolio
  • Support clinical evidence and insight generation in disease area and product lifecycle
  • Collaborate with cross functional team within the Affiliate and at Regional level
  • Build and maintain relationships with external stakeholders including key opinion leaders, investigators, external experts and scientific associations in the cardiometabolic space
  • Lead internal medical and scientific narratives and drive medical educational initiatives, advisory boards
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements and competitive landscape in rapidly changing environment.


Qualifications

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in medical affairs or clinical development within the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry, preferably in cardiovascular-kidney-metabolic disease continuum.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in medical team management
  • Prior experience in KOL and institutional account management
  • Fluent in English and Hungarian
  • Soft skills: Leadership skills/ stakeholder management/ making simple out of complex/ deal with conflict situations/managing expectations
