Media Tech and Data Lead
<b>Description</b><br><strong> Remote OR Hybrid </strong> , reporting where work can/needs to be performed / collaboration should happen. If the person lives w/n 50 miles of such a location, they are expected to come in three times a week. If they do not live withing 50 miles of any of those locations, they don't need to report in. <br><ul> <li> <strong> This role is based remotely but if you live within a 50-mile radius of (Warren, MI) you are expected to report to that location three times a week, at minimum. </strong> </li> </ul> <br><strong> Job Description: </strong> <br>The Media Tech and Measurement Lead will play a critical leadership role laying the future media foundation for General Motors. The selected candidate will lead a team and work with a broad set of cross-functional stakeholders to enable our nimble, data-driven media team to deliver optimal media outcomes. <br>This person will own the vision, roadmap, and implementation of media tools and platforms across the company. They will also work closely with our agency partners to ensure external tools in use on the business meet or exceed GM requirements. They will collaborate with in-house media activation teams to ensure campaigns are appropriately set up and deployed. The ideal candidate will be an excellent verbal and written communicator who is able to work with a large cross section of internal and external stakeholders to drive consensus. <br><strong> Major Duties and Responsibilities </strong> <br><ul> <li> Drive media innovation by creating and executing best-in-class solutions that leverage evolving technologies and platforms </li> <li> Spearhead the development of short and long-term plans to achieve strategic objectives in data and media tech </li> <li> Lead strategic direction to build out paid media tech to facilitate in-house media buying and planning across GM vehicle brands and corporate brands in the US and globally </li> <li> Lead relationship with key media tech and tool vendors </li> <li> Work closely with internal stakeholders like privacy and legal to ensure platform and tool contracts align with GM standards </li> <li> Partner closely with advanced analytics (EDAI) and reporting and insights (PDM) teams inside General Motors to ensure media tech is fit for purpose and optimized for data flow to test & learn strategy and advanced analytics </li> <li> Lead process for working within tech platforms and establish guidelines for how internal tools integrate with other internal and external platforms and tools </li> <li> Lead development of test and learn roadmaps aligned to media priorities and brand needs </li> <li> Lead development of ongoing processes to ensure in-house campaigns are properly activated and running </li> <li> Lead a team of technical marketing specialists including the employee lifecycle - selecting the best talent and onboarding, providing continuous development and feedback, coaching and mentoring. </li> </ul> <br><b>Additional Description</b><br><strong> Skills and Abilities </strong> <br><ul> <li> Proven experience leading large, complex initiatives involving multiple stakeholders </li> <li> Track record of enabling strategic and operational change management </li> <li> Ability to effectively lead and influence a team comprised of both direct and indirect reports </li> <li> Strong presentation and communication skills, including written and oral communications - demonstrated ability to distill large sets of complex data and information down to the most crucial elements </li> </ul> <br><strong> Qualifications </strong> <br><ul> <li> Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or related field </li> <li> 7 years of media experience, working with or in complex organizations is preferred </li> <li> Demonstrated experience using data and analytics to drive business and/or marketing decision-making </li> <li> Demonstrated experience with leading media tech and tools </li> <li> Demonstrated experience leading a team </li> <li> Proven experience leading media tech and platform initiatives with large, established vendors </li> </ul> <br><strong> Compensation: </strong> The compensation information is a good faith estimate only. It is based on what a successful applicant might be paid in accordance with applicable state laws. The compensation may not be representative for positions located outside of New York, Colorado, California, or Washington. <br><ul> <li> The salary range for this role is ($116,100 - $181,600 ).
