As a Media Specialist - Sports, you’ll play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of Tatari’s growing sports media business. In this role, you’ll assist in the sourcing and organization of sports media opportunities and help communicate key details between clients, internal teams, and network partners. You’ll work closely with the sports team leads to ensure campaigns run smoothly and efficiently, while gaining exposure to major sports properties and networks, including the NFL, NBA, MLB, NCAA, WNBA, ESPN, NBC, CBS, FOX, and more. 

We’re looking for someone with a passion for sports, an interest in media, and a desire to learn. This role will report to the Head of Sports Media Investment.

Responsibilities:

  • Become versed in all things Tatari to leverage data, measurement, and machine learning to deliver strategic opportunities to our clients.
  • Support the sports team from end to end in all business-related elements, including sourcing and organizing of network materials, building pitch/strategy materials, presenting to internal & external parties, building network relationships, and client strategy
  • Negotiate opportunities on behalf of Tatari clients directly with network partners
  • Utilize internal resources and industry knowledge for pre and post-campaign analysis
  • Be an “expert” in the sports media space, in order to answer any internal or client questions relating to sports-focused opportunities. 
  • Manage the organization of the Sports Hub, network materials, case studies, annual sports calendars, and other internal/external sports documents.
  • Build upon Tatari’s library of educational sports materials, such as one-sheets, decks, and case studies.
  • Work in tandem with media, operations, product, and client teams to ensure a smooth campaign in both preparation and post-campaign review.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of required experience in linear TV, bonus for relevant experience in streaming, marketing, media or brand partnerships
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of sports media and the overall sports landscape
  • Ability to put together quality decks and sales materials, and present them clearly to clients & internal parties
  • Highly organized individual with the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to tackle a variety of tasks and projects simultaneously, especially during high-traffic time periods
  • Comfortable communicating with network partners and clients on a regular basis
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities and a proactive mindset
