Role Overview
We are looking for a Media Manager with a strong, hands-on media background to join our Consumer Marketing team and own media strategy and planning across the CEE markets. We need someone who has built their career in media, ideally within a media agency, with real fluency across both offline and online channels and a track record of translating business objectives into integrated media strategies. The role is central to ensuring strategic consistency, cross-market alignment, and rigorous, data-driven investment decisions across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the development of integrated media strategy and media plans across digital and offline channels (TV, OOH, radio, print, digital) for the CEE markets, from objective-setting through channel selection and flighting.
- Lead media planning discussions with agencies, challenging recommendations and ensuring plans are grounded in sound media strategy, not just execution.
- Analyze campaign and channel performance, extract media-specific insights (reach, frequency, GRPs, efficiency, channel mix effectiveness), and turn them into clear, actionable recommendations.
- Manage media budgets, pacing, and investment efficiency across CEE markets, reallocating in-flight where needed to protect performance.
- Act as the primary point of contact for media agencies: briefing, evaluating plans, and holding partners accountable for quality and performance.
- Apply measurement frameworks (GA4, CM360, ad-server data, MMM/MTA) to validate media effectiveness and inform future planning cycles.
- Stay current on media trends, new channels/formats, and best practices across both traditional and digital media, bringing an informed point of view to planning.
- Prepare media strategy presentations, dashboards, and reports for leadership and cross-market alignment.
- Drive continuous improvement of media planning frameworks, governance, and processes across the region.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, Communications, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in media, ideally built within a media agency (planning/buying side), with direct ownership of media strategy and plans.
- Strong, demonstrable expertise in offline media planning (TV, OOH, radio, print) — able to plan and evaluate offline media independently, not just brief it out.
- Equally strong command of digital/online media planning across search, social, programmatic, and video.
- Proven ability to build and defend an integrated media strategy spanning both worlds, with a clear point of view on channel mix and budget allocation.
- Excellent analytical skills, comfortable working directly with media data, dashboards, and performance reports to shape strategy.
- Proficiency with digital analytics and ad-tech platforms (Google Analytics, CM360, DV360, Meta Ads Manager).
- Strong Excel and data-visualization skills (PowerPoint, Looker Studio, etc.).
- Confident managing and pushing back on media agencies; comfortable owning the media agenda in cross-functional discussions.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple markets/priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and presentation skills; fluency in English.
Preferred Skills
- Experience planning media across multiple CEE or international markets.
- Familiarity with MMM/MTA tools and media mix modeling.
