You will have primary responsibility for shaping the narrative of ZS and enhancing our reputation among industry analysts. In collaboration with Marketing and Communications colleagues and ZS subject matter experts, the Analyst and Media Relations Lead ensures that industry analysts have a deep understanding of ZS's vision, strategy, capabilities, solutions and products - to influence their research and opinions supporting ZS's company goals and objectives.
This role also helps support our media relations efforts, in conjunction with our agency and Senior Media & Analyst Relations Associate. The ideal candidate will have a combination of strong communication skills, market knowledge, and the ability to strategically manage relationships with key analysts and internal stakeholders, achieving exceptional analyst engagement and media presence. What You'll Do:
- Help develop and execute a comprehensive analyst relations strategy that aligns with ZS's corporate objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key industry analysts, including analysts from leading research firms such as Gartner, Forrester, IDC, and Everest.
- Coordinate and facilitate analyst interactions (inquiries, briefings, presentations) to educate analysts on ZS's vision, strategy, differentiators, offerings and competitive positioning.
- Collaborate with our SMEs, internal teams, and AR agency to craft messaging and storylines (visual and aural) that crisply deliver ZS's narrative, in resonance with analyst research and reports.
- Stay updated on industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive developments to provide valuable insights to both analysts and internal stakeholders.
- Track and measure the effectiveness of analyst relations activities, including the impact on analyst coverage and perception of our firm.
- Cultivate advocacy among analysts by identifying opportunities for them to endorse or promote our company's products and services.
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
- Proven experience in analyst relations, especially within the technology or consulting industry.
- Strong knowledge of industry analysts, their methodologies, and their impact on the technology sector.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and senior executives.
- Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize, and meet competing deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to synthesize complex information and provide actionable insights.
- Strong organizational and time management skills with a focus on quality and attention to detail.
