EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS, & ASSESSMENTS
- Bachelors Degree in Medical Technology or related sciences from an accredited institution.* (*Employees who have been working as lab techs prior to the effective CLIA date (1988) and have passed the HEW certification can be considered eligible to meet the educational and certification requirement.)
- 1 Year of Experience in Clinical or Research Laboratory Setting Preferred
- Professional Certification Eligibility after 12-18 months of working in the Laboratory. Certification includes MT (ASCP), CLT (NCA), or equivalent certification
- Professional assessment of training and experience to be conducted by the Medical Director.
