What Will You Do? 

Designing solutions or improvements to address current and ongoing issues with underground construction equipment and/or processes.

  • Support safety projects and manufacturing processes as directed

  • Maintain plant layout for machine moves and cost reduction efforts

  • Evaluate manufacturing and material handling processes for new parts

  • Support new part quoting activities & SAP routings

  • Conduct time studies of part’s processes

  • Assist quality engineering with print tolerances & process capability studies

  • Assist in the research & development of capital projects & equipment

  • Support Quality, Maintenance and Lean operations problem solving activities

  • Frequently report verbally and in writing on project status

  • Other duties as assigned

What Do You Need? 

To be considered for this role, an individual should meet the following minimal requirements: 

  • Pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial Engineering or similar engineering discipline preferred from an ABET-accredited institution.

  • Software: AutoCAD, Solidworks, Solidedge, Creo Parametric, Microsoft suite.

  • Strong mechanical aptitude. Desire to learn new skills and maintain knowledge of new technologies.

  • Must be independent, self-motivated. Must have interpersonal skills in working with a variety of cross-functional teams.
