Job DescriptionMechanical Engineering design and development with experience in systems like tactical shelters (Mobile/Deployable AOC (M/DAOC), and Communications On-The-Move (COTM) used in austere military environments.
The candidate must have experience with design tools like SolidWorks.
The candidate must also have experience with installation and fielding.
The candidate must be a self-starter, working under minimal guidance, and be creative in seeking solutions to various technical challenges.
Depending on the project phase and requirements, personnel may be required to work hours and days corresponding to this Middle East customer work schedule.
The candidate must be willing to travel to Middle East and within the USA.
Basic Qualifications
The candidate must have the following experience/skills in Tactical Network systems:
5-10 years ME experiences
5+ years using SolidWorks modeling software
Ability to generate component and assembly level drawings to document designs
Understand and apply drawing dimensioning and tolerancing standards IAW ASME Y14.5
Proficiency with PC based MS Office products
