Mechanical Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in developing and deploying our trading systems. Your Core Responsibilities:

• Support the existing infrastructure while contributing to the roadmap for future growth and innovation
• Develop bespoke electronic enclosures tailored for our trading systems, optimizing for specific business objectives where off-the-shelf solutions are not optimal
• Partner with contract manufacturers when needed to outsource manufacturing and assembly tasks, ensuring the highest quality standards
• Provide end-to-end support for customized solutions, ensuring functionality and reliability throughout their lifecycle
• Work closely with circuit design engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical and electronic systems
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including Networking, FPGA, R&D, Datacenter, and Performance to deliver high-performance solutions
• Participate in designing fiber interconnects, incorporating both standard and custom fiber components

Your Skills and Experience:

• Minimum of 5 years as a Mechanical Engineer, with a focus on electronic enclosure design
• Proficiency in 3D design tools such as Fusion 360, Inventor, or similar software
• Expertise in rapid prototyping methods, including FDM and SLA techniques
• Skilled in documenting designs for contract manufacturers using sheet metal and CNC methods
• Experience with the mechanical aspects of fiber optics, including connectors, enclosures, and splitters
• Proven ability to design and implement solutions from concept to deployment
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, comfortable working across multidisciplinary teams
• Multidimensional thinker with a curious nature and a drive to innovate in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility for domestic and international travel on an as-needed basis to support project requirements and team collaboration

The Base Salary range for the role is included below. Base salary is only one component of total compensation; all full-time, permanent positions are eligible for a discretionary bonus and benefits, including paid leave and insurance.
