A multi-discipline engineering firm with over
70 years in business is looking for a Project Mechanical Engineer for their Fort Lauderdale, Florida office!
Responsibilities:
- Supervise/coordinate
projects with other engineering and architecture departments within the
firm
- Prepare
construction drawings/specifications for public and private bidding
- Direct
communication with clients
- Provide
technical leadership, production and scheduling, quality control and cost
proposals
- Ensure
high-quality, on time, on budget, technical delivery of all project
requirements
- Supervise/mentor
junior staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering
- 5+ years of HVAC design experience
- 3+ years of project management experience in a
consulting firm or related environment
- Professional Engineer license preferred
- Experience with local municipalities and government agencies preferred
Salary is
commensurate with experience.
