Responsibilities:
- Design/engineer complete HVAC
systems from project conceptual phase through construction documents
- Develop mechanical drawings,
specifications, and construction documents
- Perform load calculations and
equipment selection
- Work closely with multi-discipline
project teams (electrical, plumbing, structural, and architectural team
members)
- Support construction phase
activities (submittal review, RFI response, meeting attendance, and
construction phase site visits
- Support project planning, budgeting,
and scheduling
- Ensure timely and high-quality
deliverables
- Contribute to improvement
initiatives and best practices development
- Mentor/train junior staff
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, architectural
engineering, or a closely related field
- 5+ years of experience in HVAC system design
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Proficient in Revit, Bluebeam, and
HVAC load calculation software
- Experience in project management and
business development
