As Mechanical Engineer II you will be responsible for;

  • Develop and test mechanical designs, including trade studies, concept and detailed designs, BOMs, drawings, engineering calculations, tolerance analysis, and associated documentation.
  • Implement and maintain scoped product or system features with minimal guidance.
  • Apply engineering principles and standard tools to execute product designs.
  • Utilize analysis tools to verify design concepts.
  • Assemble, test, and evaluate prototypes for functionality and performance.
  • Identify design and product risks, propose mitigations, and communicate scope changes to the project manager.
  • Prepare and maintain engineering documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Complete tasks within estimated timeframes (+/- 20%) and anticipate potential overruns.
  • Participate in design reviews to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
  • Demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving within project-level engineering.
  • Follow technical lead guidance and collaborate effectively within the team.
  • Serve as a lead on small teams, providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
  • Review technical work of team members for accuracy and completeness.
  • Collect, develop, and analyze design inputs.
  • Contribute to project planning, estimation, budgeting, scheduling, and tracking.

Qualifications;

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of professional experience in mechanical design or related engineering roles.
  • Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, tolerance analysis, and engineering calculations.
  • Proficiency in CAD software and standard engineering tools.
  • Experience with prototype assembly and testing.

Location: Onsite in Westminster, CO

Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000

The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
