Where is the work:

Monday to Thursday, work onsite with your colleagues. Fridays, choose your work location, balancing what your work requires.

As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing the commercial HVAC equipment and systems that support our Trane Commercial Systems business.  You will collaborate with multiple engineering and manufacturing teams, develop concepts for new & improved commercial HVAC products and solve complex technical problems, leading to production of sustainable new products. What you will do:
·       Meet the needs of internal and external customers, through documenting, understanding and prioritizing customer requirements.·       Apply technical expertise to solve design problems or to gauge appropriateness of product to various applications.·       Participate on project teams to meet performance, reliability, cost and schedule objectives.·       Create and maintain engineering documentation, including 3D models, bills of materials, drawings, and specifications.·       Conduct design FMEAs; develop and execute resulting risk mitigation plans.·       Deliver technical designs to meet project and product requirements.·       Overnight domestic travel may be required. Estimated travel is 10%. What you will bring:
·       Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least 2-years of engineering work experience in product design, validation testing and/or root cause analysis is required.
