About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated Mechanical Engineer to join our Build Office and support the manufacturing of our aircraft. This role offers hands-on experience in aerospace manufacturing, working closely with engineers, suppliers, and quality assurance teams to ensure high-precision fabrication and assembly.


Responsibilities:

  • Review engineering drawings and CAD models to understand part design and manufacturing requirements.
  • Tooling design for composite manufacturing processes and assembly of major subsystems.
  • Assess and interpret Quality Assurance (QA) requirements for part fabrication, ensuring compliance with industry and internal standards.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturing teams to verify part specifications, material selection, and production processes.
  • Assist in documentation and tracking of fabrication processes, supporting quality control and process improvements.
  • Provide engineering support for troubleshooting manufacturing challenges and resolving design-to-production issues.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Fusion, CATIA, or NX) is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and quality control in aerospace or related industries.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

This position provides an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate to gain valuable industry experience in aerospace manufacturing and preproduction aircraft development.
