JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Lead a team of maintenance technicians in ensuring timely and proper maintenance of the plant mechanical equipment.  Provide supervision to technicians in both Preventive and Corrective maintenance
  • Prepare a master maintenance schedule, Oil & Greasing plan for plant equipment and system and perform the scheduled maintenance. File all maintenance and calibration records properly and update regularly
  • Work with the operations team to address equipment failures and take corrective actions to ensure speedy restoration of normal water production
  • Monitor and renew licenses and permits promptly for equipment that require periodic mandatory inspection and testing before expiry
  • Respond to work promptly during plant emergency breakdown
  • Ensure the execution of the established Preventive Maintenance program
  • Review of the existing Preventive Maintenance program to ensure it is adequate for Plant 24/7 operation with minimum down time
  • Liaise with contractors to schedule and ensure external term contract maintenance is properly carried out
  • Monitor maintenance spare part consumption and maintain sufficient inventory for corrective and preventive maintenance
  • Conduct or arrange training for staff to ensure their competence at work
  • Prepare and Review RA for Maintenance jobs carried out at site
  • Maintain and improve house-keeping in respective areas
  • Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by supervisor or plant management

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years relevant working experience in mechanical and rotary equipment for Diploma holder
  • Prior experience in NEWater and waste water treatment process will be advantageous
  • Familiarity with industrial safety procedures will be advantageous
  • Possess good interpersonal communication skills and a strong team-player
  • Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary environment
