Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Mechanical Drafter with proficiency in SolidWorks to support our engineering and manufacturing teams. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and revising detailed 2D and 3D mechanical drawings, assemblies, and part models based on engineering specifications and design concepts.

Responsibilities:
- Create and modify 3D models and 2D drawings in SolidWorks for parts, assemblies, and complete systems.
- Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and related data to develop accurate technical drawings.
- Collaborate with mechanical engineers to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability.
- Systematically maintain and update project files on the SolidWorks server.
- Apply appropriate GD&T standards and ensure compliance with drafting standards.
- Maintain organized drawing files and adhere to revision control procedures.
- Support the development and documentation of Bill of Materials (BOMs).
- Prepare standard drawings, installation instructions and assembly guides.
- Review and validate drawings for accuracy and completeness to reflect on the client specifications.
- Assist in the preparation of technical documentation and assembly instructions.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in CAD, Drafting, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in roles requiring SolidWorks for 2D and 3D modeling.
- High proficiency in 2D and 3D solid modeling using SolidWorks, including assemblies, part modeling, and drawing generation.
- Excellent file management and project organization skills, with the ability to maintain clear and systematic documentation.
- Prior experience with scaffolding, guard railing systems, or similar mechanical structures is a plus.
- Familiarity with GD&T and industry standards such as ASME Y14.5.
