Key Responsibilities:
- Convert STL models into high-quality, parametric STEP files for mechanical design
- Refine mechanical housings to meet functional, aesthetic, and manufacturing standards
- 3D print rapid prototypes using FDM, SLA, or other suitable technologies
- Incorporate iterative feedback and improve each version of the prototype
- Collaborate closely with the team to deliver high-quality, testable physical prototypes
- Document design iterations, revisions, and rationale clearly
Must Have:
- Strong experience with CAD tools like Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar
- Proficiency in converting STL to editable STEP files
- Deep understanding of mechanical design principles for enclosures and wearables
- Experience with 3D printing for prototyping (FDM, SLA, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and communicate clearly in an iterative development cycle
- Solid documentation and file management practices
