As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Executing the design of gearboxes using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product/program requirements.
- Drafting of gearbox parts and assemblies to produce drawings for manufacturing, installation, and customer required information.
- Executing routine analyses of gearboxes using vested methods and technologies and/or contributing to technological developments in teams under supervision.
- Engaging in customizing projects to client needs and conveying technical information both to clients and to colleagues out of other functions.
- Delivering products as part of a cross-functional team.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have a bachelor’s degree of Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
- Have oral and written communication skills.
- Have a working knowledge of 3D CAD Software (working knowledge of CREO is desired)
- Have experience in gear design (desired)
- Have the ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously.
- Have effective problem identification and solution skills.
