Mechanical Engineer
The Prototyping Team is responsible for unblocking the intricacies of Autonomous Mobility. Our team is a technical hub to resolve challenging engineering and design problems in a highly cross-functional environment. Within the Prototyping Engineering team, you will be called to develop and design new ideas in a fast prototyping scenario.
Responsibilities:
- You will design, in CATIA V6, prototype hardware and electromechanical systems
- You will generate 2D drawing packages for fabrication and assembly
- You will evaluate the dynamic, static, structural and thermal-mechanical performances of mechanical assemblies
- You will optimize the design and build of our Prototype Development Fleet
- You will collaborate with experts in AI, Mechatronics, Computer Vision and Robotics from all teams
Qualifications
- Strong basis of Mechanical Engineering and Physics
- Experience with 2D drawing packages, including GD&T
- Design with CAD tools, such as CATIA V6
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent experience, in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering
- At least 6 years relevant experience

- Integrating electromechanical systems
- FEM Simulation
- Cinematic and Dynamic Simulation
- Software
- SOLIDWORKS, SimWise4D, or similar
- MATLAB, Simulink
- Prototyping experience
- Motorsport environment
Salary Range: $110,000-130,000
The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience
