In this role, you will:

• Utilize Siemens NX to design components, systems, portions of systems and modify existing designs to develop or improve production
• Support mechanical and electro-mechanical hardware design efforts from conceptual layouts through detailed design
• Conduct design trade studies, volume packaging and tolerance analysis
• Plan, execute, develop, release and control of product definition data (engineering models and drawings)
• Perform Change Orders as required
• Perform other related duties as assigned
• Because this role involves a combination of collaborative/in-person and independent work, it will take the form of a hybrid work format, with time split between working onsite and remotely

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• Must have an associate's degree
• Must have Mechanical Design experience
• Familiarity with comprehensive design process
• Must be familiar with standard manufacturing practices for the efficient fabrication of mechanical components and assemblies
• Must have ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
• Must be familiar with GD&T in accordance with Y14.5
• Must be capable of obtaining a U.S. DoW Secret security clearance

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Design Drafting associate's degree
• 10+ years of Mechanical Designer experience
• Experience working in Siemens NX
• Experience with Dassault Systemes ENOVIA PDM
• Expert with GD&T, Military Standards and ASME Standards
• Highly proficient with technical data packages and engineering drawings
• Active U.S. DoW Secret security clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $88189 - $149922
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
