Job Description:

  • Perform mechanical design function supporting new product development teams in developing and finalizing the best design concepts and implementation into production.
  • Good Fundamentals of Mechanical Engineering with good exposure to  mechanical part design , with good knowledge about materials such as engineering plastics, machining parts & metals, sheet metal design
  • Expertise in 3D modeling and parametric detailing, family tables. Expertise in using CAD tool Croe Parametric modules like (Part design, Assembly, Drawings, sheet metal, piping etc.) and PDM tools like, Windchill and Ennovia, Teamcenter
  • Good Knowledge in applying GD&T, tolerance stack-up analysis.
  • Have to possess knowledge in Drafting Standards especially ASME 14.5M, DIN, BSS, etc
  • Must have experience to Engineering change Request and Engineering change order implementation
  • Ability to understand different mechanical and Electrical part design and applications, to support the design team.
  • Demonstrates Good oral and written communication skills. Interacts with project team members and peers to anticipate and resolve day to day issues.


Primary Responsibilities

  • Primary responsibility is to support design teams in arriving at new concepts in product development and detail drawings for production.
  • Will be responsible for Packaging design of the sensors, and completing the detail designs and drawings.
  • Needs to have a good knowledge of CAD tools like Croe and PDM tools like Windchill and Teamcenter, Ennovia
  • Have an understanding of NPI / Product Development Life Cycle and Product Design skills with    problem solving skills.
  • Expertise in doing a detail design of Fixtures to support in many assembly process in production plants.
  • Experience on G D & T, Tolerance Stack up Analysis, Good knowledge about Material selection (Engineering Plastics, Metals)
  • Modification of existing Models and drawings and standardize
  • Implementing the ECRO, Redline Markups and implementing it with all the necessary approvals.
  • Responsible and Accountable for Quality Designs and Drawings.
  • Excellent problem analysis, judgment and technical decision making skills, Excellent coordinating and interacting skills, particularly of cross functional teams on a Global basis
  • Able to work on multitasking and with commitment with complete ownership of any assigned tasks
  • Proficiency with applicable computer skills such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. 
Qualifications

EXPERIENCE: 4-6 years minimum 

QUALIFICATION: B.E in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering

Skills Required

  • B.E. in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering
