What you’ll be working on…
- Completes meter testing using meter provers and ensures documentation is completed properly.
- Investigates and monitors odorants and compliance of gas systems.
- Monitors gas system fluids, filters, tanks, and strainers via visual inspection.
- Performs calibrations of transmitters, pressure monitoring devices, and volume correctors to comply with regulations.
- Performs general maintenance and troubleshooting of pressure control stations, district regulator stations, receipt and delivery points, including heating systems, generators, valves, actuators, meters, and RTUs.
- Documents commercial and industrial meter readings and reports discrepancies.
- Communicates regularly with Gas Control, SCADA, Construction, and Engineering teams.
Who you are...
- You have a High School Diploma or GED equivalency.
- You have one year in instrumentation, electronics, or gas equipment maintenance/operation.
- You have a valid Driver’s license.
- Skilled in safe operation of hand tools and diagnostic tools; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to read engineering drawings, manuals, codes, and diagrams.
- Ability to effectively communicate with employees and customers.
