Job Summary
- Seeking a Data Scientist to support mission-driven analytics by transforming complex data into actionable insights through advanced analysis, visualization, and data processing techniques
- This role focuses on aggregating, curating, and validating data while developing clear, impactful visualizations that support decision-making
- The ideal candidate has strong experience with Python and Jupyter environments, as well as familiarity with customer-specific dataflows and processing pipelines
Primary Responsibilities
- Analyze and interpret complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Develop and deliver data visualizations, dashboards, and reports using graphs, charts, and other visual tools
- Perform data aggregation, processing, and curation to ensure data quality and usability
- Identify, investigate, and support correction of data errors and inconsistencies
- Utilize Python and Jupyter notebooks for data analysis, modeling, and visualization development
- Work with customer dataflows and processing pipelines to support ingestion, transformation, and analysis of data
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate mission needs into analytic solutions
- Support development and application of statistical methods and analytic techniques
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph (MD Customer)
- Master’s degree with 6 years of relevant experience, Bachelor’s Degree with 8 years of relevant experience, or Associate's Degree with 10 years of in-depth relevant experience that is clearly related to the position
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis and processing
- Experience using Jupyter Notebooks for data exploration, modeling, and visualization
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret complex datasets
- Experience with data aggregation, processing, and curation
- Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and correct data errors and inconsistencies
- Experience working with customer-specific dataflows and data processing pipelines
- Strong skills in data visualization (creating graphs, charts, dashboards to present findings)
- Understanding of structured and unstructured data handling
- Ability to communicate complex data insights clearly to stakeholders
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP) and AI/LLM technologies is highly desirable
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
