Job Summary
- Seeking a Software Engineer to support a high-priority, highly visible malware analysis modernization program
- The selected candidates will work with a team of dynamic and innovative engineers to design and develop new capabilities that enhance the processing, containment, and enrichment of malware data
Primary Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain capabilities supporting a virtual malware containment enclave
- Support the modernization of malware enrichment services and related infrastructure
- Develop automation scripts and tooling to support virtual machine setup and configuration
- Work with engineering teams to design and implement secure and scalable solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues within virtualized and distributed environments
- Collaborate within an Agile development environment to deliver new capabilities
- Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, and technical discussions
- Contribute to improving system performance, automation, and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph

- Bachelor's Degree and 20 years' experience
- Experience working in virtualized environments, including:
- Creating and managing virtual machines
- Building and maintaining VM images
- Configuring virtual environment networking
- Experience using Python to develop scripts for automation of VM setup and management
- Ability to multitask and quickly pivot between priorities
- Experience with Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence) and Git
- Experience using IntelliJ or Eclipse IDE
Desired Qualifications
- Kotlin
- Spring or Spring Boot
- Kubernetes
- Experience developing Java applications (backend services; front-end development not required)
- Experience developing RESTful services and APIs
Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
