Job Summary
- Seeking a Software Engineer to support all aspects of agile software development for a full featured service hosted on large scale compute clusters and AWS Cloud Infrastructure
Primary Responsibilities
- Duties include development, testing and integration of capabilities, optimization & performance tuning, and operation & sustainment functions
- Responsible for evaluating project needs, determining tasks and durations, and reviewing designs for technical accuracy, completeness
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- Fourteen (14) years’ experience as a SWE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type and complexity is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required
- Four (4) years of additional SWE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree
- Experience with Large Language Models (LLM), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and Agentic AI
- Experience in AWS Cloud Architecture design
- Proficiency in using AWS SDKs and APIs
- Knowledge and skill in implementing and using observability tools (e.g. Elasticsearch, OpenSearch)
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like CloudFormation or Terraform
- Expertise in Continuous Integration, Deployment, Testing and Monitoring practices
- Experience in Java programming for distributed systems, with experience in networking and multi-threading
- Experience with Agile development and tools with source code management practices
- Familiarity with microservices software development techniques and container-orchestration (Kubernetes)
- Knowledge of security and compliance best practices
