Job Summary
- The Instructional Designer is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing effective learning solutions that enhance workforce performance and align with organizational objectives
Primary Responsibilities
- Designs, develops, and revises complex interactive, virtual learning and/or instructor-led courses of a technical nature
- Ensures integrity of task analysis, training requirements, training hierarchies, instructional materials, and evaluation plans
- Converts written materials and/or training requirements to online and/or instructor-led interactive courseware
- Develops flow diagrams and storyboards to design instructionally sound eLearning solutions, using a variety of delivery media
- Works with subject matter experts to ensure technical accuracy of instructional content
- Develops course manuals, training aids, and audio/video materials, as needed to enhance training
Required Qualifications
- Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope Polygraph
- A Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Systems Design, Instructional Technology, Education, English, Communications, or a directly related field plus TWO (2) years of experience is required
- In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, Four (4) years of documented instructional and or curriculum development experience can be substituted
- Experience creating hands-on activities in virtualized environments to mimic a practical, real-world experience
- Demonstrated experience providing input for learning objects for interactive e-training solutions (for example: HTML5, Captivate, and/or Edge delivery
- Experience completing data entry and technical writing activities, to include mapping course objective to Knowledge, Skills, Abilities (KSA) and/or JQS

Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications.
