We are seeking a skilled and experienced MCU Firmware Engineer to design, develop, and optimize embedded software for our next-generation products. In this role, you will work closely with hardware and software teams to bring microcontrollers to life and build robust, reliable embedded systems.
Requirements & Qualifications
• Microcontroller Expertise: Strong development experience with MCUs from major vendors, including Renesas, Infineon, STMicroelectronics, NXP, or Nuvoton.
• OS Experience: Proficient in FreeRTOS or any other Real-Time Operating System (RTOS) architecture.
• Hardware Interfacing: Deep understanding and hands-on experience with MCU peripheral interfaces, including:
1. GPIO, ADC/DAC
2. Timers, Clock Systems, PWM, Watchdog and RTC
3. Interrupts and DMA
4. I2C, SPI, Serial/UART, CAN bus, USB
5. Low-Power modes
• Software Updates: Proven track record of developing and implementing Firmware OTA upgrade mechanisms.
Preferred / Plus Skills :
Experience with any of the following is highly desirable and will be considered a strong plus:
•I ndustrial Protocols: Familiarity with Modbus or IPMI protocols.
• Automotive Architecture: Experience with AUTOSAR architecture and MCAL (Microcontroller Abstraction Layer) development.
• Functional Safety: Knowledge of safety standards such as IEC 61508 or ISO 26262.
• Embedded Security: Experience implementing hardware security features, cryptography, or ARM TrustZone.
Skills Required
