Wat would your day to day be like at MANGO?
Mango Sustainability Department seeks an MBA Intern to support the development, execution, and follow-up of sustainability initiatives within Mango’s operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct a carbon footprint assessment and develop recommendations for reduction strategies.
- Perform a benchmark analysis of industry best practices in sustainability, comparing Mango to key competitors.
- Research regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements for sustainability in the fashion industry.
- Develop a gap analysis of Mango’s sustainability strategy versus international standards (e.g., Science-Based Targets, EU Green Deal).
- Gather and analyze sustainability KPIs (e.g., carbon emissions, water usage, waste reduction progress).
- Conduct a scenario analysis and projections for decarbonization goals based on current initiatives.
- Assess the financial and operational impact of sustainability initiatives.
- Develop a roadmap for sustainability actions based on findings during the internship.
- Assist in crafting sustainability training materials for internal teams.
Requirements
- MBA students with a strong interest in sustainability, corporate responsibility, and business strategy.
- Background in sustainability consulting, investment banking, business strategy, environmental science, or supply chain management.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to synthesize complex sustainability insights into clear recommendations.
- Experience in project management, sustainability strategy, or innovation functions is a plus.
