Job Summary: The MBA Sales and Marketing Manager is responsible for recruiting prospective MBA students and guiding them through the admissions process. This role involves outreach activities, providing information about the MBA program, taking ownership of the full cycle on the application procedures, and ensuring a positive experience for applicants.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Student Recruitment:
• Develop a Marketing Plan to successfully recruit students for the MBA programs.
• Conduct outreach activities to attract prospective MBA students, including virtual and in-person events, corporate visits, and professional conferences.
• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate partners, professional organizations, and educational partners.
• Present information about the MBA program, admission requirements, curriculum, and career opportunities to prospective students.
2. Applicant Guidance and Support:
• Provide personalized support to prospective MBA students throughout the admissions process.
• Respond to inquiries via phone, email, and in-person meetings, offering accurate and timely information.
• Support prospective students with the application process, including guidance on completing applications, submitting required documents, and meeting deadlines.
3. Admissions Events and Activities:
• Organize admissions events such as open day, webinars, campus tours, and information sessions.
• Coordinate and conduct interviews and assessments of prospective MBA students.
• Represent the MBA program at various recruitment events and activities, both on and off-campus.
4. Application Review:
• Review and evaluate MBA applications to ensure completeness and compliance with admission requirements.
• Make recommendations for admission based on established criteria and guidelines.
5. Data Management and Reporting:
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of prospective students and applicants using databases.
• Track and report on recruitment activities and application statuses.
• Provide regular updates and reports to the management team.
6. Collaboration and Professional Development:
• Work closely with other staff members to achieve enrollment goals and ensure a cohesive approach to student recruitment.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in MBA admissions and recruitment.
• Collaborate with academic departments and other campus offices to support the recruitment and retention of MBA students.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, education, communications, marketing, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
• Previous experience in MBA admissions, student recruitment, sales or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of the MBA admissions process and the higher education landscape.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and build relationships with diverse groups.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
• Proficiency in using databases, tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends as needed.
