Role Overview
We are looking for experienced mathematics researchers specializing in Algebraic Geometry to contribute to a short-term advanced research initiative involving mathematical reasoning, proof development, and formal technical frameworks.
The work focuses on exploratory mathematical research, complex proof construction, theoretical analysis, and translating abstract mathematical structures into reusable specifications and technical models. This opportunity is best suited to PhD-level mathematicians with a strong publication record and deep expertise in Algebraic Geometry.
CONTRACT: Contractor assignment, 4 weeks
COMMITMENT: Hourly, up to 40h/week
LOCATIONS: Remote - Bangladesh, Brazil, Colombia, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkey, Vietnam
PROCESS: Interest Check Form followed by a delivery interview
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate advanced mathematical formulations and foundational problems.
- Develop, critique, and refine complex mathematical proofs.
- Build and evaluate theoretical mathematical frameworks.
- Identify structural patterns across proofs and formalize them into reusable specifications.
- Translate abstract mathematical reasoning into structured technical models.
- Contribute to framework and architecture design inspired by mathematical principles.
- Communicate highly abstract mathematical ideas to both specialist and cross-functional technical audiences.
- Document research findings, methodologies, and technical recommendations clearly.
- Collaborate with a specialized research team on exploratory mathematical problems.
Requirements
- PhD in Mathematics or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated research expertise in Algebraic Geometry.
- Strong record of peer-reviewed publications in recognized mathematical journals.
- Advanced proficiency in mathematical proof development and theoretical analysis.
- Ability to critique and refine complex mathematical arguments.
