Gogo Business Aviation is looking for a Materials and Warehouse Operations Manager who excels in change management, demonstrates excellent leadership skills, and is well versed in international shipments and customs. At Gogo Business Aviation, Warehouse Operations is one of the key functions in supporting our customers and our production lines.

This position makes very meaningful contributions to the success of the company by managing outbound shipments, international shipments, inbound receiving, production order kitting, material movements, inventory accuracy, cycle counting, internal and external audits, and more.

COME ON BOARD THE GOGO BUSINESS AVIATION PRODCUTION OPERATIONS TEAM! 

How will you make a difference? 

  • Manage warehouse operations, in its entirety, for 2 sites

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and work prioritization to Material Handlers 

  • Determine daily/weekly staff schedules to support weekend shifts and project execution 

  • Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in ERP system for warehouse transactions and processes; deliver interactive, hands-on, detail-oriented leadership on tasks 

  • Determine and implement Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team 

  • Partner with cross functional teams to ensure that Sales and Service Orders are fulfilled in time to meet customer needs 

  • Ensure daily and weekly targets for receipts, shipments, and kitting are met 

  • Maintain high inventory accuracy and facilitate cycle counts 

  • Provide accurate records of any discrepancies or quantity mismatch, then institute corrective measures to prevent future occurrences

  • Effectively communicate with cross-functional teams to understand and solve issues for all teams involved

  • Enforce safety policies and procedures (both in-house and regulatory) 

  • Champion a Lean mindset and drive continuous improvements 

  • Drive ERP improvements such as automating workflows, implementing ERP handheld scanners and barcode scanners to automate data entry

Qualifications 

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 8+ years of people management skills in a warehouse leadership position 

  • 5+ years of logistics experience (customs, import/export licenses, and coordination of international shipments) 

  • Able to travel occasionally

  • Able to stand/walk for long hours 

  • Able to lift 50 lbs. 

Required Skills, Talents & Experience 

  • Able to effectively prioritize and manage multiple priorities at one time

  • Experience with customs, import/export licenses, and coordination of international shipments 

  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and warehouse operations (we use Business Central) 

  • Able to motivate, train and coach non-except workforce

  • Excellent leadership and organizational skills 

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including writing work instructions and training non-exempt employees to work instructions. 

  • Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Office

  • Strong problem-solving skills (root cause, corrective action experience) 

  • Able to work weekends on a rotational basis 

Preferred Skills, Talents & Experience 

  • APICS Certified in Logistics, Transportation and Distribution (CLTD) or similar 

  • Green Belt or Lean Certified 

  • Experience working in a Quality Management System (QMS) such as AS9100 or ISO 9001 

  • Forklift Operator and/or Trainer 

Equal Pay Disclosure(s)

Base Pay:

79,200.00 - 99,000.00 USD Annual

Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:

Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
