The Role

Our office in Dallas, TX is looking for a hardworking and reliable Material Handler to join our team! 

 

The role entails managing the automated finishing and post-finishing machinery to fulfill the daily mailing needs for different projects. Your duties include running folding and insertion equipment to efficiently organize and enclose invoices and statements in envelopes, as well as assisting with the routine upkeep and operation of the machinery.

 

Facility address: 955 Freeport Pkwy #200, Coppell, TX

Shift: Sunday to Thursday from 10:00 pm-6:30 am.

What you get to do everyday

  • Stock and maintain client consumables and USPS inventory at workstation.
  • Assist Insert Operators in keeping mail processing through the Inserter as efficiently & accurately as possible while meeting SLA deadlines.
  • Maintain a high level of accuracy in inventory counts.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.
  • Perform housekeeping activities such as cleaning and maintenance of the Operations facility and/or the insertion area
  • Provide pre-staged consumables to the Insert Operators as needed.
  • Accurately traying mail with the correct tray tags.
  • Build pallets neatly and organized to meet USPS requirements.
  • Utilize methods such as shrink wrapping or strapping to ensure that pallets are secure
  • Clean and maintain an organized workstation.
  • Assist in relocating materials and reconfigure consumable locations
  • Inspect consumables for damage or defects and report any discrepancies to Supervisors
  • Prepare completed mail for QOS & USPS inspection as required.

  • Reliable – you are punctual for your scheduled shifts, have a great attendance record and are flexible to work Overtime when required
  • A Team Player – you enjoy working as part of a team to meet daily production volumes and requirements for client jobs
  • A great communicator – you communicate professionally, both written and verbal
  • Self-motivated and organized – you are able to multi-task and perform in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience with material handling equipment, working in a warehouse environment, picking material
  • Experience with a Baylor or Compactor would be an asset

What skills do you need?

  • 1 year of related experience preferred
  • Ability to perform manual labor – lifting up to 50 lbs may be required
  • High school diploma required
