Tasks and Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning and execution of MRO procurement activities and procurement processes, taking into account cost and process requirements
- Planning and execution of market analysis, market observation, forecasting of industry trends, cost factors, global pricing, lead times, technology and manufacturing capability of corporate suppliers and other influencing factors
- Supported procurement projects, cost and purchase analysis and the implementation of the resulting strategy
- Prepares and issues RFQs, analyzes bid evaluations, and monitors total cost of ownership (TCO)
- Implements cost savings and CIP opportunities as provided by management
- Maintains supplier files, purchase prices, price fluctuations and quality records of purchased products in SAP
- Responsible for sourcing, outsourcing and sourcing parts on demand
- Subject to decisions on prices, terms and contracts and new/current programs and deliveries
- Responsible for coordinating pre-production requirements to meet customer needs
- Responsible for resolving shortages and issues related to suppliers and products, as well as material claims related to vendors
- Participate in multifunctional and interdisciplinary projects
Requirements:
- University degree in Economics (BSc)
- Experience in Purchasing field (min. 1 year)
- MS Office knowledge
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in Hungarian and English.
- Ability to collaborate with people at various levels inside and outside the company and interact with the team to achieve team goals and business objectives.
- Able to recognize and respond to customer expectations with urgency, and even increase expectations.
- Ability to work under pressure, positive thinking, very high frustration tolerance and stress resistance
- Willingness to travel and work overtime
- Willingness to continuously expand professional knowledge and acquire knowledge outside one's own field of expertise
- Ability to work in a multicultural environment for global projects
