Join our passionate team as a Matcha Sourcer! In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing premium matcha from top producers and ensuring the highest quality standards for our products. You will cultivate relationships with suppliers, negotiate contracts, and stay updated on matcha market trends. The ideal candidate will be deeply knowledgeable about Japanese tea culture and fluent in Japanese to facilitate direct communication with Japanese growers and partners.

• Source and evaluate matcha suppliers, primarily in Japan

• Negotiate contracts and establish strong, long-term relationships with producers

• Sample and assess matcha quality to meet company standards

• Regularly communicate with Japanese partners and suppliers

• Stay current with matcha market trends and innovations

• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely supply and product consistency

• Deep understanding of matcha and Japanese tea culture

• Fluent in Japanese (written and spoken)

• Experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management preferred

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to travel internationally as needed

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills

• Work with a passionate and knowledgeable tea-loving team
