Job Description
The purpose of this position is to support the Materials Department’s goals and objectives. This includes maintaining the operational balance on the shop floor so we can meet the customer’s demands for on time delivery through effective prioritization of PAC equipment and resources.
Essential Duties: The following is a list of the general duties performed in this position. It is not meant to be an exhaustive list.
- Effectively build and lead assigned department, team or associates as designated according to PAC Values, policies, procedures and practices. This includes, but is not limited to Safety, Talent Acquisition, On-boarding and Talent Development, Performance Management and Behavior Management.
- Drive positive employee engagement by providing support, encouragement to associates and work to break down barriers to performance and job satisfaction.
- Efficiently and effectively support PAC’s Safety, HR and Payroll policies and procedures including Time & Attendance.
- Lead Daily Production Meeting to effectively coordinate production.
- Perform regular walk-through and monitor MRP system to review shop floor schedules and collaborate with Shift Lead, Quality, Engineering, Customer Service and Planning to adjust production resources as needed.
- Review Work Center loads from Foreman’s Report and collaborate to adjust loads as necessary.
- Determine, communicate and collaborate to prioritize for strategic long term planning of work centers.
- Responsible for driving Monthly Metrics of On Time Delivery and Past Due
- Report normal and special scheduling requirements to the appropriate departments, including Manufacturing, NPD, Quality and Materials that are needed to meet customer expectations.
- Communicate and collaborate with Customer Service to alert any issues or changes that would jeopardize On Time Delivery

Physical Requirements:
- Primary work environment is throughout the production plan and office.
- Vision to AS 9100 standards.
- Lift, push and/or pull 50 pounds.
- Stand at least 95% of the scheduled shift.
- Occasionally required to perform stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, twisting, bending and grasping in order to move and set tools, equipment and material.
