Procon seeks an experienced Master Scheduler to develop, maintain, and manage the Integrated Program Schedule (IPS) while providing independent schedule analysis across multiple projects, contractors, regulatory activities, stakeholder actions, and program interfaces in the Las Vegas, NV area.

The Master Scheduler will be responsible for maintaining a reliable and comprehensive program forecast that integrates design, procurement, construction, commissioning, occupancy, security, closeout, and operational dependencies. This role requires various skills and experience as listed below.

RequirementsQualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Minimum of 12 years of professional scheduling experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience leading scheduling efforts on large, complex programs.
  • Advanced proficiency with Oracle Primavera P6.
  • Strong expertise in Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling, schedule analysis, forecasting, and schedule controls.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a NACI/Top Secret security clearance to satisfy project-specific site access and badging requirements.
  • PSP, PMI-SP, PMP, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
  • Experience supporting complex federal, mission-critical, or large-scale capital programs preferred.
  • Experience performing Monte Carlo schedule risk analysis preferred.
  • Familiarity with commissioning, accreditation, turnover, and operational readiness schedules preferred.
Responsibilities and Duties
  • Develop and maintain the Integrated Program Schedule (IPS).
  • Integrate multiple project and contractor schedules into a comprehensive program-level schedule.
  • Analyze schedule performance, progress, trends, and forecasted outcomes.
  • Identify and monitor critical paths, schedule constraints, milestones, and cross-project dependencies.
  • Conduct schedule reviews and quality assessments to verify accuracy, logic, and completeness.
  • Support schedule risk analysis and develop mitigation strategies to address potential delays.
  • Prepare executive-level schedule reports, dashboards, presentations, and milestone updates.
  • Support change management, claims avoidance, schedule impact analysis, and recovery planning.
  • Mentor project schedulers and establish consistent program-wide scheduling standards and best practices.
Physical Requirements

This position requires regular onsite presence in an active construction environment. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation, including:

  • Walking and standing for extended periods while performing site observations and inspections.
  • Navigating active construction areas, including stairs, uneven surfaces, temporary walkways, and varying elevations.
  • Occasionally bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and climbing as necessary to observe construction activities.
  • Accessing mechanical, electrical, utility, process, and other construction areas as required.
  • Wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE) and complying with all applicable site safety requirements.
  • Working in indoor and outdoor environments with exposure to typical construction-site conditions, including noise, dust, weather, and temperature fluctuations.
  • Occasionally lifting and carrying up to 25 pounds.
