The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Master Production Planner, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative people around the world. Here, you will make an impact by:

• Designing supply chains solutions in the areas of production planning, inventory management, and material/information flow
• Implementing supply chain solutions across the extended value stream
• Leading strategic capacity planning for division assets
• Supporting S&OP Supply Review & Master Schedule Review processes
• Supporting the production planning process across key assets

Your Skills and Expertise 
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified prior to start) 
• Three (3) years of combined supply chain and/or logistics experience in a private, public, government or military environment 

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Three (3) years of Manufacturing Plant Experience 
• Two (2) years of combined experience with Production Planning and/or Lean Production Systems
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Supply Chain or related field from an accredited university
• APICS CPIM and/or CSCP certification
• Experience with Lean Six Sigman – Green or Black Belt Certification
• Experience with Inventory Parameter Management

Work location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M Center in Maplewood, MN or at the 3M Center in Menomonie, WI.  ​

Travel: May include up to 15% domestic/international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $124,127 - $151,710, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position.
