Job Description
The TAFT Lead Instructor and Supervisor serves as the primary in-country point of contact, overseeing all aspects of the M1A2T training program. This role includes acting as liaison between the contractor, program management, instructors, and students, while delivering instruction on specific lessons and ensuring student proficiency in each module. Responsibilities include designing, developing, administering, and grading written and practical examinations, as well as ensuring course goals and objectives are met in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The position also provides mentorship, counseling, and performance assessments for instructors and students throughout the program.
Key Duties
- Serves as primary in-country point of contact, lead instructor, and supervisor for TAFT.
- Acts as liaison between, the Contractor, PM, instructors, students, and all other personnel
- Responsible for the instruction of specific lesson of the M1A2T Program.
- Assures that students obtain proficiency in each module of instruction before they proceed to the next area of instruction.
- Responsible for the design, development, administration, and grading of all written and practical M1A2T examinations.
- Responsible for assuring that M1A2T course goals and objectives are met IAW the PWS
- Provides instructors and students with counsel, mentoring, and assessment of their academic performance as required.
Requirements
- 10 years of program management and supervisory experience in an operational armor unit that utilized and trained M240 and M1A2 Master Gunners.
- Knowledgeable at the NCO-level on Master Gunnery Training, management, maintenance, and the employment of the M240 and M1A2.
